If I'm fate (see meme, below), then I simply *must* have a word with the person whose car alarm woke me up at 4 this morning. It was the honking kind, too, and those really, really annoy the cats, who started meowing and pawing at me to alert me to the fact that they couldn't sleep. HEY! HEY LADY! Sigh. The honking madness continued for about an hour, right up until the time my roommate usually gets up. Today, I got up along with her and spent the extra hour productively puttering about the apartment. Still, I'm pissed off on general principle.
Car alarms really aren't too bad in my neighborhood, even though it borders on urban. It was much worse when I lived in New York City, and I can understand why folks there are up in arms about it.
