Wow - Michael Moore's Farenheit 9/11 has just won the Palme d'Or at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. I guess this means we really will get to see it here in the states; possibly even before the election. This could make finding a new distributor for the film a bit easier for the Weinsteins. It'll be interesting to see who steps up.
As far as content goes, I'm primarily interested in the interviews Moore's crew conducted with US servicemen and women; the other stuff he goes into (the Bush family link with the Saudis and the bin Ladens in particular) has already been reported in various books over the last few months. Farenheit 9/11 certainly has the potential to appeal to a wider audience. I'll be watching this one carefully.
